Hannah Newnham

Hannah joined Adonis Blue Environmental Consultants in June 2025 as a Coast Explorer Intern, which works in partnership with Adonis, The Crown Estate, Vattenfall and Canterbury City Council. Having graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc in Marine Biology, she has a strong knowledge base of UK marine and coastal ecosystems. To date Hannah has gained experience through volunteering pursuits at BlueSeasProtection charity and The Wild Oysters Project, along with completing an internship monitoring for Invasive Non-Native Species. Hannah has a keen interest in offshore wind development – she undertook a placement in the Environmental Consents and Management team at RWE Renewables and worked part time for an offshore wind consultancy whilst completing her degree.

Through these experiences, Hannah has developed strong scientific fieldwork and analytical skills and is keen to apply these in exciting projects during her internship with Adonis. She particularly enjoys working in outreach to inspire others about conserving our environment.
