Carys Hoskins

Having graduated from Ecology and Conservation Biology at the University of Sheffield, Carys joined Adonis Blue in August 2025. She is particularly interested in ornithology but hoping to grow in botanical ID skills to get more involved with habitat surveying.

Although she particularly enjoys working in the field and completing habitat condition surveys, she also works remotely from her home in Sheffield. Her remote work includes training in bat acoustic analysis to interpret bat sonograms; an exciting progression having volunteered in bat conservation for several years.

She looks forward to being part of habitat restoration projects and progressing in her ecological field skills while working closely alongside other ecologists at Adonis Blue.
